Outfitter is a decent way to get workshop player models without actually subscribing to a fuckton, if that's something you care aboutįor a more 'clean' looking game, pick up Gmod Legs 3, IK Foot, VManip, VManip Contextual Animations, and Contextual Player Animations (the last two sound similar but they're different) Simphys vehicles are a blast as well, with L4D2 vehicles packs providing tons of normal vehicles and the armored vehicles pack letting you have tanks to wreck AI. Get a big open map, spawn an AI runway and get into dogfights with the AI. This and HBOMBS leads to a lot of chaos and fun at the same time.įinally, Gredwitch’s planes are some of my favorite mods ever. Gredwitch makes a bunch of cool mods with mortar emplacements, MGs, and even AT guns all rolled into one being my personal choice. Maps like gm_fork, gm_novenka, gm_floatingislands, and the 7/11 have provided me hundreds of hours of fun. These NPC mods come in a bunch of flavors, anywhere from US Marines to WW2 soldiers and even Halo NPCs. I enjoy using a global spawner mod to spawn the NPCs for me to fight.
VJ base and similar mods allow you to have NPCs with enhanced AI for a better fighting experience. TFA archived all his weapons, so those don’t count anymore since only janky reuploads are left. M9K lacks the clean animations but has a wide variety of fun and wacky weapons and ArcCW has the most in depth gun customization of them all. MW Base has all the COD: MW2019 guns and even some C_hands if you have the enhanced playermodel selector installed. Modern Warfare Base (and its extensions) is/are one of the best gun mods in the game, but I also like M9K and ArcCW for some other guns. Honestly? Just spend some time on the workshop looking at the most popular mods OAT and see if you like any.
